When you are first importing the configuration file from BPro into QuickBooks Web Connector you may encounter the following error:

This error indicates that the QuickBooks Web Connector does not have permission to connect to QuickBooks Desktop.

To solve it, go into QuickBooks Desktop and click Edit -> Preferences, then choose Integrated Applications. Click on the Company Preferences tab and ensure that the following option is unchecked: "Don't allow any applications to access this company file"

In the list of applications you should see "BPro QuickBooks Web Connector" - please ensure that there is a check mark beside it under Allow Access. If not, simply click in the space to enable it, then click OK.

Now try importing the BPro Web Connector file once more and you should not see the error.
