Customize > Products and Services

 Product Builder > Add Product

You are required to have a Name, Product Type, Retail/Rental/Service Price, and Product Category. The rest are options that you can enter to make it more suitable to your business.

Product Name: What you want the product/service to appear as within the cart selection process, and on the invoice.

Product Description: Internal description of the product to better help you understand what is involved with a specific product/service. You have the option for this to appear on the invoice if you want.

Product Status: “Inactive”  will not delete your product, only hide it from your Order Cart in an order.

Product Type:

  • Rental: Inventory-based item, tracks ins and outs of products.

  • Retail: Inventory-based item, decreases stock count based on sales.

  • Service: Non-inventory-based item, nothing other than revenue tracked.

Cost: Will be kept track in your Product Report to track it’s Cost History.

Price: Your Rental/Service/Retail price is what will be charged to your customer, depending on how they are set up for Product Type.

Product Image: can be displayed on the Invoice/Quote and on your Pick Sheet/Work Order if chosen to.

Tax Exemptions: You can now make your exempted from Tax Groups like Product Categories.

Location: You can choose which location you are creating the product for. Selecting the Hub will share to both. **only available for multi locations**

Product Category: This is mandatory to choose and also decides if this is taxed or not. These are main filters on your Product Reports and also an option in your cart. This is also how your revenue Report is broken down.

Product Numbers: You do not need to use these but it will make sure that you do not enter duplicate products as this is the only unique identifier.

Aisle, Section, and Bin Number: These will only be displayed on your Pick Sheets.

After you click the Save button you can scroll back to the bottom and see more options available.

These Product Options will vary depending on your Product Type.

Inventory Level Tracking: If you have a Rental or Retail product, you will have the options to turn this on . When enabled, you will then have an option to enter a stock level in the option picker below.

Serialized Product: Turn this on if you need to track specific items of a product.

Bundles: If you want to create bundled items (items that you select in the order process that automatically include the parts/pieces that make up that item), enable this button and edit what is included down below.

Recommended Products: This feature allows for upselling while in the order process. Include products you think you could sell to compliment your main product line. Include what products you think could sell in the edit section at the very bottom.

Product Specs: Allows you to track of the size dimensions of the product.

Pricing: Where you can make a product Damage Waiver exempt if you have one turned on. Here is where you will also see if there are any Discount Groups including this product.
