Your workday is tough!! Having assets to help you through your day is a necessary requirement.

Throughout your day you are going to be assigning your events created within orders to different business assets that you have available to your business. These are typically vehicles or mobile units, but can also be station's or locations within your business that you would like to assign the event or order created.

These assets are essential to making sure every job/order is being assigned to and that your customers are staying happy!

To Create a mobile asset we need to hop into the back office of the system, or the Global Settings. To do this we just need to click 'Customize' then 'Global Settings'.

You should be now taken to a new Login Screen. Your login information should be the same as your login information that you use each day if you have the privileges. If not then you may have had the login information sent to you when you first signed up.

Great! Now we're in the Global Settings! From here we have access to our 'Business Asset List' This list will allow you to create Locations and Mobile Units.

Adding a Mobile Unit and a Location are similar steps so for now we'll stick to Mobile Units. To add a Mobile Unit, click on the Mobile Unit tab and it will take you to a list of your created Mobile Units. Time to add a Mobile Unit! Simply click the 'Add Mobile Unit' button and the menu should expand.

This section we will use to:

  • assign our unit a name

  • which location owns the unit

  • color

  • status(active or disabled)

  • whether you would like to share the mobile units' availability with other locations.
