Cancelling your Bunch services.

To cancel your services, simply fill out our official Cancellation Form. This ensures we have the correct information to close your account.

You can request a cancellation in any of the following ways:

  • Webchat โ€“ Our team can guide you and help fill out the form during your chat.

  • Phone call - Our team can assist filling the form out for you when you call.
    โ€‹
    โ€‹

  • Email โ€“ If you email us, we'll reply with the form link and help you get started.
    โ€‹
    โ€‹

Note: Your cancellation will not be processed until the form is submitted, even if you've contacted us via another method.


โœ… What Happens After You Submit the Form

Once youโ€™ve submitted your cancellation request:

  • You will receive a confirmation email acknowledging your request.

  • Our team will handle closing your account(s).
    โ€‹
    โ€‹

  • If you change your mind, weโ€™re happy to discuss options โ€” and if you decide to stay, weโ€™ll help you switch to a new plan via our quote tool to avoid any contract overlap or charges.

Here are a few scenarios to keep in mind when cancelling:

In the 14-day cooling-off period:

  • ๐ŸŸข No services ordered? No fees โ€” just confirmation

  • ๐ŸŸก Services ordered? You may see some cancellation charges โ€” weโ€™ll send a full breakdown
    โ€‹
    โ€‹

After 14 days (mid-contract):

Weโ€™ll carry out a full account check and send:

  • A list of any services used
    โ€‹
    โ€‹

  • Any cancellation fees
    โ€‹
    โ€‹

  • ๐Ÿ’ฐ A refund, if youโ€™re owed one
    โ€‹
    โ€‹

  • โšก Energy โ€“ ยฃ100 per fuel (thatโ€™s ยฃ200 if you have gas & electricity with us)

  • ๐Ÿ’ง Water โ€“ ยฃ25

  • ๐ŸŒ Broadband
    โ€‹
    โ€‹

    • BT & Vodafone โ€“ ยฃ50 termination fee + the remainder of your contract

    • Virgin โ€“ The remainder of your contract only
      โ€‹
      โ€‹

    • ๐Ÿ”„ Router not returned? โ€“ ยฃ100 charge
      โ€‹
      โ€‹

  • ๐Ÿ“บ TV Licence โ€“ Youโ€™ll pay the remainder of the current quarter (e.g. cancel in Jan, you pay until end of March)

๐Ÿงพ Management Fees (if applicable) โ€“ The remainder of your contract

๐Ÿ˜๏ธ Shared Homes (HMOs)

If you live in a house with multiple tenants:

  • All housemates must fill out the form individually.

  • To update or change housemate details (like tenancy swaps or regrades), the new and outgoing tenants must also call Customer support to complete the process.

๐Ÿ”Œ Cancelling Fixed Energy Tariffs

If you cancel a Fixed Energy contract:

  • Your account will move to a Standard Variable Tariff (SVT).

  • Youโ€™ll continue to receive SVT bills from Bunch until your new supplier takes over.
    โ€‹
    โ€‹

  • Any outstanding balances must be cleared before you can switch to a new energy provider.
    โ€‹
    โ€‹

๐Ÿ“… Timing of Cancellation & Payments

If thereโ€™s a delay in processing your form:

  • Your next scheduled payment may still be taken.
    โ€‹
    โ€‹

  • To avoid being charged for an extra month, we recommend submitting your cancellation form well in advance of your next billing date.

    โ€‹
