If your monthly payments have increased and you are not sure why, there are usually some common explanations.

Energy price cap changes

If you are on a Standard Variable Tariff (SVT) your monthly payments may change every quarter. This is in line with energy wholesale prices set by the energy regulatory Ofgem. Read more here.

Energy review

After 3 months of your account being set up, we start running monthly reviews. If we detect that your energy consumption is higher than your allowance, we will increase your allowance to avoid any surprise over usage bills. You will be notified if you are over using via email and you will receive a copy of your monthly invoices if any changes have been made.

Product change

Your monthly payments may have changed because a new product or service has been added to your account.

House capacity change

If you are a customer benefitting from our multiple bill payer option, then there may have been a change in the number of bill payers on the account. This will mean your monthly price changes to account for this.

If you are still unsure of the reason why your monthly payments have increased, get in touch with us via email at hello@the-bunch.co.uk or call us on 0333 358 3377.
