Once you sign up and set your contract start date with Bunch there are a few actions that we need to complete before your services go live and you receive your first monthly invoice.

If you signed before moving into your new home then your first payment will be on the 1st of the month that you moved in, even if this is before your move in date. This is due to us splitting your payments into the amount of months on your contract with Bunch.

If you signed after you moved into your new home then this may be pro-rated depending on your move in date. As you have already moved in there may be some bills that have already been generated that may come to the occupier. These will need to be paid as we are not liable for any services to the house before your move in date.

We will request your energy and water services go live on your move in date but should there be any objections to this by the previous supplier your energy start date may be delayed. You can check the progress of your energy switch in your customer portal and we will also email you if an objection to the energy switch is received.

Why is my 1st bill less than planned?

This could be due to a late switch across to our suppliers.

Bunch will only charge you when your energy services go live and if you do receive a bill from another supplier then you would need to pay this directly to them.
