There are two main things you will need to get started; an email responder and somewhere to build your funnels. There is more information and recommendations on these from Aaron below;

1. An Email Auto Responder/CRM (Customer Relationship Management) platform. Many are meant for enterprises, but the average small business just needs a basic email responder. It does depend on your technical expertise and your revenue, but Aaron recommends the following:

Beginner: Mail Chimp (https://mailchimp.com/) - if you're just starting out and have no background in technology or automation this is a good choice. Though you may not be able to tag people and move them in and out of sequences, you may never need to do that.

Intermediate: Drip (https://www.drip.co/) - Drip is getting a lot of momentum, they have a very simple, very affordable automation platform that can accomplish a lot of advance automation tasks.

or Active Campaign (https://www.activecampaign.com/

Advanced: Infusionsoft (https://www.infusionsoft.com/). Aaron uses Infusionsoft - if you want to have a good toolkit in place, and you can afford $250-$500 a month because you already have a large enough list (5,000-10,000 people) then you can monetize the list and Infusionsoft may be a valuable tool for your business.

2. The only other thing you need to have is something to build funnel pages. ClickFunnels (https://www.clickfunnels.com/) is what Aaron recommends to 99% of people. ClickFunnels has templates for landing pages, opt-in pages, thank you pages etc, and you can host automated or live webinars and even courses.

If you are on a super-duper budget, then Aaron recommends a Wordpress hosted platform, such as Thrive Themes (https://thrivethemes.com/) where you can build landing pages using templates and more using their plugins.

Finally, you may need webinar software (such as Zoom) and/or software for scheduling (such as Schedule Once) but they are not generally necessary to get started.
