General Questions
What is the Foot Restoration Program (FRP)?
The Foot Restoration Program is a 12-week training and education program designed to restore natural foot function, improve mobility and balance, and reduce common foot and ankle issues. It combines education, progressive exercises, and walking practices to address the root causes of dysfunction rather than just symptoms.
Who is the FRP designed for?
The program is for anyone experiencing foot discomfort, pain, or limitations in movement. Whether you’re dealing with plantar fasciitis, bunions, flat feet, high arches, or simply want stronger, healthier feet, the FRP provides a structured and supportive pathway. It’s suitable for all ages and fitness levels.
How long does the program take to complete?
The standard program runs for 12 weeks:
Phase 1 (Weeks 1–6): 2–4 hours per week
Phase 2 (Weeks 7–12): 3–6 hours per week
Progress depends on your consistency, starting point, and goals. Some participants notice changes within 4–6 weeks, while others benefit from repeating or extending beyond 12 weeks.
Specific FAQs
1. I have a specific condition, will this help?
The FRP is designed to restore natural foot function, which often helps improve or resolve common foot and ankle issues. However, every case is unique and other factors may need to be addressed.
👉 For specific conditions or diagnoses, we recommend pairing the program with support from our Explorer Community or booking with a TFC Health Professional.
2. Do I need any physical tools?
No tools are required — the FRP has been designed to be fully accessible.
That said, simple tools can make the journey easier and more enjoyable:
No mobility ball? Use a tennis ball.
No hacky sack? Try a balled-up pair of socks.
No SoleMate? A strip of tape on the floor works to start.
You can also explore our full range of tools to complement your practice.
3. What is the time commitment?
On average:
Phase 1 (6 weeks): 2–4 hours per week
Phase 2 (6 weeks): 3–6 hours per week
This includes:
Daily activities (20–45 minutes)
Exercise tutorials (15–20 minutes)
Walking sessions (5–30 minutes)
Optional audio lessons or bonus modules
The program follows a flexible 5-day structure (Mon–Fri) with built-in rest days, and gradually increases in volume over time.
4. What data do I need to submit to get a refund?
To request a refund under the FRP guarantee, participants complete progress questionnaires based on the Foot and Ankle Disability Index (FADI).
This involves:
Tracking pain levels and daily activity (walking + training)
Self-assessments at Week 1, Week 6, and Week 12
Providing age and gender for anonymised reporting
Data is collected securely in the TFC App. No personal details are ever shared publicly. The purpose is to measure effectiveness and improve the program while ensuring your privacy.
5. Will the FRP be broken up into specific conditions?
No. The FRP focuses on restoring natural foot function holistically rather than tailoring to individual diagnoses. This approach has been shown to improve a wide range of conditions.
👉 For condition-specific guidance, see the Explorer Community or a TFC Pro.
6. What is the money-back guarantee?
If you complete the program and don’t notice any improvements, we’ll refund you in full — no questions asked. We may ask for feedback so we can continue to improve the FRP, but the guarantee is risk-free.
