How to export your leads and skip trace results
Every list you build in The Invest Nest can be exported as a CSV file. Exports include all the property data you've collected, including any skip trace results you've already run. This article shows you how to export and what's included in the file.
How to export a list
From the left sidebar, click Lists
Find the list you want to export
Click the three-dot menu on the right side of the list card
Select Export
Confirm when prompted
The CSV file will download automatically through your browser. Look for it in your Downloads folder.
You can also export from inside a list. Open any list and click the Export List button at the top of the table.
File naming
Exported files are named using this pattern:
Investnest_[List_Name]_[Date].csv
For example: Investnest_New_test_list_for_demo_2026-04-14.csv
The list name keeps your spaces as underscores. The date is the day you ran the export.
What's included in the export
Your CSV will contain every column you can see in the list view, including:
Property address
Owner name (after skip trace)
Phone numbers (after skip trace, with mobile or landline tags)
Email addresses (after skip trace)
Status chip (Not Contacted, Contacted Attempted, Contacted, Not Interested)
Notes you've added
Last updated date
Property details like estimated value, equity, year built, square footage, owner type, mortgage info, and more
If a property hasn't been skip traced yet, the contact fields will be blank for that row. Skip trace properties before exporting if you want their contact info included.
What you can do with the CSV
The exported file works in any spreadsheet tool (Excel, Google Sheets, Numbers) and can be uploaded into: - Direct mail platforms - SMS or cold-call dialers - CRMs like Podio, REsimpli, or HubSpot - Email marketing tools (for property owners with verified email addresses)
A few things to know
Exports use your current data snapshot. If you skip trace more properties after exporting, you'll need to export again to capture the new data
There's no row limit on exports. Lists with thousands of properties export in a single file
Skip trace counts toward your monthly limit. Exporting doesn't use additional skip traces, but the data has to already be in the list
Re-importing an exported file
If you export a list and want to bring it back in (or share it with a teammate to import on their account), you can use the Import List feature. Just keep in mind that property addresses go through our matching system on import, so some addresses may need manual correction if formatting differs.
