Step 2: Set Up Your LODEpay Wallet

Step-by-step instructions with pictures on how to set up your LODEpay Wallet after you have download the App to your device.

Before you begin, please confirm that the operating system software on your device is up to date.

You are now ready to begin!

Step 1. Download the LODEpay Wallet App to Your Device

On your device, locate and tap on the applicable icon for either the Play Store (Android), or the App Store (Apple/iOS).

Step 2: On the "Google Store" or the "App Store" page, search for the LODEpay Wallet App by entering “lodepay” (without the quotes) in the search bar.

Step 3: If you are using an Android device, please tap on "Install". If you are using an Apple (iOS) device, please tap on the download icon to the right (cloud with a downward arrow)

You have successfully downloaded and installed your LODEpay Wallet App on your Android device, when the word "Install" on the green tab changes to "Open".

You have successfully downloaded and installed your LODEpay Wallet App on your Apple (iOS) device, when the download icon to the right (cloud with a downward arrow) is replaced by the word "OPEN".

Now that you have successfully downloaded and installed the LODEpay Wallet App onto your device, you are now ready to set up your wallet.

Step 1: If you have just finished downloading and installing your LODEpay Wallet App onto your device, and are still in the "Play Store" or "App Store", tap on "Open".


If for some reason you have closed out of the "Play Store" or "App Store" after you installed the LODEpay Wallet App, simply locate and tap on the "LODEpay Icon" on the Apps page of your device to begin the process of setting up your wallet. (See below)

Step 2: Tap on the arrow located at the bottom of the screen on each of the next three LODEpay promotional pages.

Step 3: On the next screen tap on “Create New Wallet”.

Step 4: You will be required to read and accept the "Terms of Service".

You must scroll through the text of the "Terms of Service" to the end in order for the “Agree” tab to engage and light up so you can accept the Agreement.

On the next screen you will be asked to enter set a “6 digit pin-code” that you will use to access your wallet and its services.

Step 5: Choose your six numbers and make a written note of your 6-digit "PIN” before entering the numbers on the keypad.

Please store your 6-digit "PIN" in a safe and secure place for future reference when needed.

Step 6: Re-enter and confirm your 6-digit "PIN".

The next screen will display the title, "This is your Recovery Phrase". You should see a box with red numbers from 1 through 12 with a word displayed under each number.

Step 7: Please make sure you write these 12 words down clearly and correctly spelled, and in the order as numbered and displayed on your screen, from the first word to the twelfth word.

📕 🗂 Please Note 🗄 🔐

  • You will be required to store your Recovery Phrase offline in a safe and secure place where you can access it in the future should you need to restore your wallet and have access to its digital assets.

  • You can store your Recovery Phrase on an external drive as a “backup” option as well, and keep the drive in a safe and secure place.

  • As an extra safeguard, you can also take a screenshot of your Recovery Phrase and store it off your device. It is strongly recommended that you do not keep the screenshot of your Recovery Phrase on your phone as it could be easily accessible in the event your phone is lost or stolen.

  • It is extremely important that you do not misplace or lose your 12-word Recovery Phrase. It is your private key to your LODEpay Wallet and all of its assets. These same 12 words are also required to reset or change your 6-digit Pin-code.

🙏 Very Important - Please Take Note 🙏

Should you need to restore your wallet for any reason, your 12-word Recovery Phrase will be required. If you are not able to restore your wallet, you will NOT be able to access or recover any digital assets that you have stored in that wallet.

Step 8: Once you have recorded your 12-word Recovery Phrase, tap the empty box in front of the phrase, “I have safely stored my recovery phrase offline” and then tap “Next”.

📣 Please Note ✍️

The "Next" tab will not light up and permit you to move forward with your LODEpay Wallet set-up process until the box in front of the phrase, “I have safely stored my recovery phrase offline” has been checked.

On the next screen you will find a grey box with the 12 words from your Recovery Phrase displayed in a different order from the order you wrote down.

Step 9: Confirm your Recovery Phrase that you wrote down by tapping on each of the 12 words displayed in the box in the same order that you recorded them.

As you tap on each word it will relocate to the fillable box above in the order that you tap them.

Step 10: Once all of the 12 words have been relocated in the correct order to the fillable box above, tap on “Next”.

If the “Next” button does not light up, check to make sure the words are in the correct order that you wrote them down.

Step 11: (a) If you have an "Affiliate Referral Link" and have not yet registered and created your LODEpay Member Account, please TAP HERE.

Step 11: (b) If you do not have an "Affiliate Referral Link" and have not yet registered and created your LODEpay Member Account, please TAP HERE.

Step 11: (c) If you have an existing LODEpay Member Account, locate and tap on “Skip for now” at the bottom of your screen.

Now that you have successfully set up your LODEpay Wallet, it is time to link your LODEpay Wallet to your LODEpay Member Account.
