In this article, we will walk you through the process of adding, configuring, and managing your domains.

WARNING: Please use a subdomain first, before moving your root domain over. For example, instead of moving over teamos.ai, create a subdomain like join.teamos.ai. This will ensure your current website does not go down!

Adding a New Domain

To get started, follow these steps:

  • Go to Settings, then, Domains

  • Click “Add Domain” to add a new domain.

  • Access your DNS records and add the requested records for your domain. These records are vital for the proper functioning of your domain within the system.

CNAME

flash.funnels.msgsndr.com

Note: Records can take up to 24 hours to propagate. If you encounter issues while adding your domain, we recommend waiting and trying again before seeking further assistance from our support team.

  • Once your records are set, you can add your domain and save.

Using Domain Connect to set up your DNS records

If you have your domain's DNS on GoDaddy, CloudFlare, and Google Domains you can use the Domain Connect feature. Domain Connect provides an automated and standardized process for connecting domains to services, eliminating the need for manual configuration.

Here is how it works:

  • Log into your account and go to Settings > Domains tab.

  • Click the "Add Domain" option.

  • Input your domain or subdomain

  • Click on the option “Add record manually”

  • You will see a pop-up with the DNS records, click on Verify records.

  • Once the DNS records are verified you will be able to use your domain.

  • Run a test to verify the domain connection. Changes may take at least 30 seconds to reflect.

Please Note: Manual DNS record addition remains an option if your domain provider is not supported.

Managing Your Domain

Once you have set up your domain, you can easily manage it using the following options:

Edit Domain Information:

Select the pencil icon next to your domain to access the editing options. Here, you can modify domain information, ensuring it is up-to-date and accurate.

  • Set a Default Page: Within the editing options, you can set a homepage for your domain. This is the page that visitors will see when they navigate to your domain. Choose a compelling and informative page to leave a lasting impression on your audience.

  • Set a 404 Error Page: A 404 page is also known as an “error page” or “Page Not Found” page. This page indicates that the user reached the domain they requested, but the URL path provided no information. You can create your own 404 error page in your funnel, and select it in the domain settings.

  • Remove Your Domain: If you wish to remove a domain from your system, click the trash icon. This action will remove the domain, ensuring it is no longer associated with your account.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What if my domain provider isn’t among the top three?

A: Users with domain providers not currently supported by Domain Connect can still manually add the required DNS records. The manual configuration process remains the same.

Q: What happens if I choose to 'Also add www domain,' but it's already configured elsewhere?

A: A CNAME record will be created, but any pre-existing CNAME or A records for your www domain must be removed manually for proper functionality.

Note: Records can take up to 24 hours to propagate so if you can’t add your domain, please wait and try again before contacting support.
