Thanks for your interest in engineering at TRC! We are very accommodating to new engineers, but we do require a few steps to access our main Recording Studios to ensure everyone is comfortable with the high-end equipment.
To register as an engineer:
Log in or create an account on our website.
Edit your profile and check "Yes" next to "I would like to engineer sessions..."
Look for an automated email with a link to our self-assessment and virtual Engineer Orientation (held via Zoom).
Not familiar with studio operations yet? If the self-assessment feels intimidating or if you aren't familiar with large-format consoles, we highly recommend booking a Production Suite instead!
The suites are user-friendly and perfect for getting your demos and rough cuts done. You can focus on the creative side there, and then arrange for a staff engineer to help you polish everything off in the main studios later.
Let us know if you have trouble finding the registration email, it sometimes hides in spam!
