TRC Engineer Orientation process

All community members who wish to engineer sessions at TRC are required to complete a simple self-assessment form, and attend a free Engineer Orientation. Due to COVID-19, all orientations will be held via Zoom until further notice. This virtual orientation is a great opportunity to learn about the recording studios and ask any questions you may have about signal flow, equipment, or anything else!

The self-assessment is designed to provide TRC staff with a bit more information about the background and experience you have as a recording engineer. We want to provide everyone with the opportunity to work in the recording studios -- TRC is very accommodating to new engineers, and we have specifically designed our recording studios to encourage growth and development!

To sign up for an orientation, please make an account on our website and opt in at the end of the registration process. Be sure to check "yes" for "I would like to engineer session for myself or others at TRC!". If you’ve already made an account, you can edit your account on the website by clicking the “Account” button from the top toolbar, and following the link to "update your profile.” You can expect a follow-up email from us with a link to fill out the self-assessment form and sign up for an orientation.

Please let us know if you have any trouble locating these emails - there's a chance they'll show up in your promotions or spam folders!
