Relinking a Bank Account

My bank account became unlinked, or my bank account link says it is expired. How to reconnect an expired link.

Updated over 2 years ago

Need to set up a new bank account link to your fund? Click here: Linking a New Bank Account.

Need to manually link a bank account through an unlisted institution? Click here: Linking an Unlisted Bank Account.

After some time, Plaid, our bank linking provider, may want users to re-authenticate their credentials to keep their bank account link up-to-date and secure. Your bank account link may also become expired due to an upgrade by your institution or because you changed your login credentials to your bank account.

STEP 1

You may have a message in your "Profile Settings" under "Accounts," that says "Link Expired" like the image below. Press the "Relink Now" button highlighted below in order to relink your account.

STEP 2

The Plaid dialogue box will load in the center of your screen. Select "Continue" and verify your identity with your bank institution or re-enter your credentials as prompted. Once complete, you will see a message letting you know your account has successfully been reconnected.

You can return to your profile center to verify there are no error messages on any of your linked accounts, and then resume contributing to your fund as normal.
