How to Request a Transfer

How do I transfer balance from one fund to another within The Signatry online platform?

Updated over 2 years ago

This article covers how to initiate a transfer request of money from one fund to another fund. A fund to fund transfer refers to movement of a monetary amount between two active funds within The Signatry.

Users may request a transfer of money from one fund in which they hold a role to another fund where they have an active account role.

Users may also request a transfer of money from a fund where they hold a role to a fund at The Signatry where they do not hold a role. However, the Fund Name and Fund ID will be required to complete the transfer. If you do not know the Fund Name and Fund ID, reach out to someone holding a role on the fund you are requesting to "Transfer To" to find this information before beginning a transfer.

TRANSFER PROCESS

STEP 1

After logging in, navigate to the "Transfers" tab on the left navigation pane under the fund sub-menu. To start a transfer request, click on the "+ NEW TRANSFER" button in the top right.

STEP 2

In the popup box, ensure that the fund you want to originate the "Transfer From" is correct. Then, under the "Transfer To" dropdown, select "YOUR FUNDS" to choose a fund that you hold a role on, or an "OTHER" fund. (Note: If you only have a role on one fund, you may only select to request a transfer to an OTHER fund.)

STEP 3

Finally, type in the name of the fund and the Fund ID. Choose your transfer date timing, the amount you are requesting to transfer, and click "SUBMIT TRANSFER REQUEST."
