Learn how to use the 'Favorites' and 'Previous' features when recommending a grant to expedite the process of recommending a grant to a nonprofit. Use a favorite or previously granted to nonprofit by following the steps below.
Create a Favorite Charity Recipient
STEP 1
Navigate to the Charities tab on the left menu.
STEP 2
Search for the nonprofit recipient in the 'Organization Name' search bar. Click 'Search.'
STEP 3
Click on the nonprofit recipient's profile card from the results to open up the charity's profile page.
STEP 4
In the bottom right corner of the title card on the recipient's profile page, click on the 'Add to Favorites' button.
STEP 5
The charity recipient is now added to your favorites. From your fund dashboard, click the '+ NEW GRANT' button in the top right corner to start a new grant recommendation. In the top recipient selection section, there are three tabs. 'Favorites', Previous Grants', and 'Search'. Click the drop down arrow with 'Favorites' selected to see your starred favorite recipient.
Selecting a Previously Granted to Recipient
STEP 1
Click on the '+ NEW GRANT' from your fund dashboard. Under the Recipient section in the new grant form, select the middle 'Previous Grants' tab. Click on the drop down to open a list of recipients that have been granted to in the past from your account.
STEP 2
Click on the charity in the dropdown list you wish to submit a grant to and then
finish completing the form before clicking the "review" button to submit your
grant.
