Adding A Consultation

There are two options when adding a consultation. These are essentially the same button, however, the content and attachments of a private consultation will only be visible to the author.

*****ANY TIME YOU CLICK ADD CONSULTATION OR ADD PRIVATE CONSULTATION THEN IT CREATES A CONSULTATION IN THE DATA BASE IMMEDIATELY*****

At the top of the add consultation page; there is some basic information.

Any time a consultation or private consultation is clicked, a consultation is created and recorded against that player. So even if the user has clicked this in error, there is no way of deleting this. They will just have to mark that the consultation was added in error.

  • Time and date – will default to the time and date of entry

  • The practitioner will default to yourself, however, you can add the consultation on behalf of someone else by using the drop-down field.

  • The page is then split into 2

  • Top half relating to the player

  • Bottom half relating to specific problems the player has had.

Adding notes – dependent on your user roles the notes box will change:

  • If you’re a doctor you will get HEDP (history, examination, diagnosis, plan)

  • If you’re a physio you will get SOAP (subjective, objective, assessment, plan)

Adding attachments – select from your computer and populate the fields

Annotations – select a body part (double clicking brings an arrow)

Maintenance Treatments – Over a period of time, all previous treatments will appear in the recent treatments section. This is a time saver for the user if they are providing similar treatment, as they will be able to select and pre-populate the comments section.
