Internet browsers store temporary files from websites to help load pages faster going forward. These files (know as cache) can sometimes prevent pages working correctly and clearing them can quickly fix these instances.

  • Clear cache on chrome

  • Clear cache on Safari

  • Clear cache on IE11

  • Clear cache on Edge

To clear Cache In Google Chrome

On your computer, open Chrome.

At the top right, click More More.

Click More tools and then Clear browsing data.

At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.

Next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files," check the boxes.

Click Clear data.

To Clear Cache In Internet Explorer 11

Open Internet Explorer 11

Click the Settings icon (top right corner) and click Safety

Click Delete browsing history

Check the Temporary Internet files and website files option

Click Delete

A confirmation message should appear

Restart Internet Explorer 11

To Clear the Cache in Safari

Click on the Safari drop-down menu and select Preferences.

Click the Advanced tab. Select the Show Develop menu in menu bar checkbox and close the Preferences window.

Select the Develop drop-down menu. Click Empty Cache.

Note: You may want to also clear your browser history.

To Clear the Cache in Edge

Click on the menu button situated in the upper right corner.

Click on Settings.

Under Clear browsing data, click on Choose what to clear.

Click on Clear.
