Video Analytics

Ability to view Analytics of the actual video itself - Number of times watched, Who by, how long for etc.

Access

To access the video analytics section, you must firstly have the correct user roles. you will need ‘Video Administrator’ user role. Your Club Administrator/Superuser can allocate user roles to you.

Locating Video Analytics

The first step is to locate the video analytics section. On the Nav bar under Analysis or similar depending on what site you’re using, click the videos link.

The analytics of usage is split into two distinct reports, video analytics and user analytics:

Video analytics

From the related link click Video Analytics.

You now have the option to search by date uploaded or search for a specific video. If you search for a date range then the system will return any video uploaded between the selected date range. If you chose to search by specific video then the system will present a popup for you to type and find the video name.

Column descriptors

Name – video name

Duration – The total duration of the file in hours, seconds, and minutes

Total views – The number of times the video has been played (unique by visit)

Average minutes viewed – The average length of a video watched by a user

Average % viewed – The average length of the video viewed, displayed as a percentage

Last viewed – The date/time the video was most recently viewed

Last viewed duration – The length of the video viewed in the most recent visit

Is deleted – Displays if the video has been deleted or not

Date and Time Uploaded – The date and time the video was uploaded the site

You have the option to order the columns by clicking on the column name. Also clicking into any row will expand giving you more information.

Video User Analytics

From the related link of the videos page click Video User Analytics.

Use the search criteria to select which payer or staff member you wish to look at.

You can now either search by the date the video was uploaded or by specific video. If you search for a date range then the system will return any video uploaded between the selected date range. If you chose to search by specific video then the system will present a popup for you to type and find the video name.

You then have the option to return:

  • All videos

  • Only show videos the user has viewed

  • Only show videos the user has not viewed

Column descriptors

Name – video name

Total hits – The number of times the video has been visited

Total views – The number of times the video has been played (unique by visit)

Average minutes viewed – The average length of a video watched by a user

Total Watched – The total length of the video watched

Percentage Watched – The total percentage of the video watched

Most Recent View Date – The date/time the video was most recently viewed

You have the option to order the columns by clicking on the column name. Also clicking into any row will expand giving you more information.
