Linking Topics to Activity Types
The topics/drills within Sports Office all belong to an Activity type. This allows detailed reporting of the type of training a player has undertaken in any given period.
For example – You could have an activity type called
- Small Sided Games
The topics belonging to that activity type could be
• 6 v 6
• Touch and Pass
• 5 v 3
• 8 v8
And so on.
To link the Self-reported topics to an activity type
Go to the System area > Choose either the Fitness or Performance tab > look for an option called Session Activity Types
You can use the same Activity Types as you do with your staff added session plans or you can create new self-reporting specific ones
To use an existing Activity Type > Find the Activity type in the list and click Edit on the far right > In the ‘Drills’ column, drop down the field and check which Topic/Drill you wish to link to that Activity Type > Click ‘Update’
To add a new Activity Type > Scroll to the bottom of the page > Add the Activity Type name > Choose what ‘category’ that belongs to > Check which teams the Activity Type is for > Click ‘Add new type’ > Follow the above steps to link the Drills/Topics to the new activity type
