The Sports Office native app allows players and staff to view the clubs Twitter feed within the app, with a direct link from there into the Twitter app.

Adding a Twitter Feed

To add the Twitter feed that you want the app to point at, a staff user will need to go into the System area of the site.

From here they need to go to the Apps tab and into Social Media. The user will then need to find the Twitter handle of the account they want to pull into the app (e.g. the clubs Twitter feed) and copy this into the text box and save.
This is a per team setting (controlled by the top right hand selector of the desktop version). This allows you to add more than 1 account per club for example if you have a different Senior team twitter account than that of the academy.

Viewing Social within the App

To view the Twitter feed within the app the user will need to go to the More menu and then select Social. This will then pull through Tweets that have been put out by the

linked Twitter account. They will be able to click on any of these Tweets to view them in Twitter and if they have the Twitter app, it will take them directly into there.

Users are not able to interact with the Tweets within The Sports Office App (e.g. liking or retweeting Tweets), they will only be able to View the Tweets and get directed to

the Twitter app.
