To manage the personnel in your teams/squads you will need either:
'Manage Player Access' user role - this allows you to assign players to teams.
'Club Administrator' user role - This allows you to assign staff and players to teams as well as manage user accounts.
NOTE: If it is the start of a new season and you are wanting to move an entire team to another i.e. the U11's are now the U12's, please see a guide on a feature to help with that here.
There are 2 ways to assign players or staff to teams.
Assigning multiple people to a team
If you are wanting to assign multiple people to 1 team, the best way is to go to
System > click either Assign Players to Teams or Assign Staff to teams
Hit Select on the right of the relevant squad > scroll down the page until you see the list of Available players on the right and a list of already assigned players to the left
Click the Add button to add people OR click the Remove button to remove
There is a search box on either list to help you find people quickly
if you cannot find the person, they may need creating in system > manage players or manage staff
it is also worth checking first if the person has not been archived in either the manage staff or manage player page. This list only includes active accounts
Assigning a person to multiple teams at once
If you are wanting to assign 1 person to more than 1 team/squad, it is easier to do this through either the Manage Player or Manage Staff area.
Find the person by using the search/filter box
To the right click the ellipsis and choose Edit
In the assign to teams option, you can multi-select the teams/squads you want to assign them to
Click save/finish in the bottom right
