To create/add fixtures, you must have Coaching Access user Role.
PLEASE NOTE: FOR CLIENTS USING THE PMA, THE OFFICIAL GAMES PROGRAMME FIXTURES ARE AUTOMATICALLY IMPORTED FROM iFAS. ONLY FRIENDLIES/INTERNAL FIXTURES SHOULD BE ADDED TO PREVENT DUPILCATION.
There are 2 methods of creating fixtures in your system:
On a per fixture basis
Using the importer
Per fixture basis
From the Fixture page, in the top left hand corner, you should see an 'Add Fixture' option:
You will be then be presented a page where you add the Fixture details. Certain details are required and will be highlighted with a orange exclamation mark.
Opponents can be selected from the database list or can be free typed created if you cannot find the correct option. If the fixture is in the past, you can enter the result also.
By default, the fixture is created for the team you are currently working in (top right) but you can also create the fixture for other teams in your organisation using the 'add same fixture for' field at the bottom.
Importing Fixtures
You can import multiple fixtures at once using the import method.
Firstly, you must export the Excel template from the Import page (top left). Once you have that, you can complete the spreadsheet offline, completing one row for each fixture.
Once you have completed all the required detail, save he sheet as an excel workbook. Go back to the Import page and select the file to import. If you have free typed any opponents or venues rather than using the database list, please check the option to 'Allow free text' > Now Preview the import.
The preview will highlight if anything needs amending before you can eventually complete the import and create the whole fixture list at once.
PLEASE NOTE: The import creates the fixtures for the team you are currently working in (top right). If multiple teams have the same fixtures, you can re-use the workbook, making sure to be in the correct team at the time of import.
