Introduction
The design of the Current Injury Report is to allow medical staff to update the Progress and Plan for any athlete who has a current issue raised against them.
The report can be converted into pdf for distribution and a log is made of each report generated.
Access
The Current Injury Report is Medical PIN protected. To gain access you would need to speak to your Head of Medical Services who should be able to give a PIN from their portal. If they do not, you should contact us using the channels at the bottom of this article.
You will need 'Medical Reports Access' and/or 'Medical Team Status Access' user roles.
'Medical Administrator' user role will be needed to amend the configuration settings mentioned below.
Finding the Report
The report can be located either from the Medical Team Status page in the related links above the team status grid:
Or from the Medical Reports page found in the medical section of your Sports Office system:
Using the Report
Firstly, you must select a date range for the report (It defaults to the current week starting from Monday).
The date range is used for the Number of Sessions, Gym Sessions and GPS feature discussed later in this article.
You can select multiple teams if you wish to report on more than one team at once. You will only see the teams you are assigned to in this list.
Once you are happy > Hit Show Report
This should then bring back all players from the Team selected who have at least 1 open issue. If a player has multiple open issues, these should all appear in the Injury Details column stacked on top of each other.
The Progress and Plan boxes should now allow for you to free type your report/notes/updates for each player you require.
NOTE: You can amend the names Progress and Plan in System > Medical Tab > Current Injury Report as seen below:
You can choose to remove players from the report by using the 'Include in Report' slider on the right hand side for each player. They are all set to show by default, click the slider to ignore them from the final pdf. Their notes boxes should dull when ignored.
Training Data
The Training Data columns allows data from other parts of the system to be included in the report. It will include any Sessions or Gym Sessions the player has been included in from the Coaching and Sport Science areas.
GPS
Similar to training data, you can choose to include certain GPS metrics on the report.
Any GPS data therefore uploaded against that player in the date range selected will display.
GPS metrics can be Added in the same System area that you can edit the Progress and Plan headers.
NOTE: The aggregation of this data will depend upon the metrics selected and how they are set up in your System > Fitness > GPS Header area.
For example, if you have a metric set up as Total, this will show the total amount of data for that metric in the time frame elected on the report.
Once you are happy with your updates for each player and you have selected all the relevant players, use the pdf icon on the right hand side of the page to convert the report into a pdf.
Regardless of the size of your text boxes, the pdf should convert them to display all text entered and into a consistent width to make the report layout neat.
Current Injury Report
Every time you create a pdf of your report, that version is stored in the Current Injury report Log for future reference.
The Current Injury Report log can be found in the related links of the Current Injury report.
You can use the Report Filters to search/view reports from certain time frames.
From the three dots on the right, you can view a previous report or archive it.
