Introduction
When adding/editing a SOAP note medical users can add a Rehab Assignment to it by using the Rehab tab. Rehab Assignments are files you can upload to the Medical Library, ready to assign to a SOAP note as and when you require. This article will explain how to configure the following drop-down fields available in the Rehab tab: Rehab Template, Exercise Programme and Care pathway. It will also provide the steps on how to add these to a SOAP note and where to view them.
Access
The user must have access to the Medical module, if they do not, please ask your club admin/superuser to check their access using the Medical/Physio/Doctor user role list provided in this linked article: https://app.intercom.com/a/apps/bvkv847d/articles/articles/4410380/show
The user will also require a 4 digit Medical PIN in order to access the player's medical dashboard. Medical PINs are usually controlled by each Organisations 'Medical PIN Manager' who can allocate and remove PINs for each staff user. This is typically the Head of Medical Services but your Client Manager can tell you who has this role at your club.
Configuration
To Add Rehab Templates/Exercise Programmes/Care Pathways you need to follow these steps:
Select Medical in the Navigation Menu > Library > you will now see the 3 areas in the related link bar near the top of the page
To upload a new document, depending on where you want to store the rehab related file select either 'Care Pathways', 'Exercise Programmes' or 'Rehab Templates' > Click the 'Add' tab > Enter Name, Body Part and select File to add from device > Select Green Add button when done.
You can add as many files as you like in many different formats.
Adding Rehab Assignment in SOAP Note
When you add/edit a SOAP note and go to the Rehab tab, you should be able to see the Rehab Templates/Exercise Programmes/Care Pathways you created in the relevant drop-down selectors.
To add to the SOAP note you have to select the Rehab Template/Exercise Programme/Care Pathway you wish to assign > select an injury > set a start & end date > Select Add Rehab Assignment > Save the SOAP note.
View Player's Rehab Assignments
You are able to view the player's Rehab Assignments by going to the player's medical dashboard > Other Data tab > Rehab Assignments. Here you can view the active/future/expired/deleted rehab assignments for that player. You can also add Rehab Assignments from here.
Players can access the Rehab documents from their log in via the desktop version.
From the 'Sport Science and Medical' area > Medical Overview
This can be a great way to share Rehab resources that enable a player to do exercises remotely.
