Coaching Session Plan - Attachments

How to add attachments to coaching sessions and view them in session plans

Introduction

Attachments/files of multiple file types can be added to Session Plans to further document practice or to evidence the training plan. These can be viewed by other staff with the correct access as well as opened up to Players (optional).

Access

A user must have Coaching Access user role to add a session plan and subsequent attachment file. If you cannot see Sessions or Session Plan, contact your Club Administrator who can allocate your account user permissions.

Add Attachment to Coaching Session

To add an attachment to an existing coaching session you need to follow these steps:

Coaching & Games Programme (or your relevant coaching module)
Sessions > Find your session > Select the 3 dot/ellipses icon > View / Modify session > Select Add New Attachment > Press Select on the 'File' box > Choose a file from your device to attach > Add a description > Select the Add Attachment button > Finally, save the session changes you have made.

If you are creating a coaching session from scratch, the process is the same except you will select Add New Session instead of finding an existing session in the list.

View Attachment

On the Session page, you can quickly see which session have attachment with the attachment icon.
You can view the attachment via 2 ways:
1. From the View / Modify link: From the session 3 dot/ellipses icon on the right > Click View / Modify Session > See the attachment and click the 3 dot ellipsis to view the attachment.

2. From the Session Plan: From the session 3 dot/ellipses icon on the right > Click View Session Plan > In the Display Options near the top toggle the Attachments ON > At the bottom you can select to view the attachment.

Allow Player Visibility of Session Plan

You can allow players to view session plan attachments on a per team basis with an Performance Option in System. Users need the Performance Administrator user role to see these options.
In System > Performance tab > Performance Options > find 'Show Attachments in Player Session Plans' > toggle the option ON > Update changes at the bottom.
