Understanding Contacts, Leads, and Customers
Contacts: The foundation of your CRM system, which includes all people and companies in your database. However you call them Patients, Educators, engineers, etc...
Leads: Contacts who have shown interest in your product or service and are in the early stages of the sales funnel.

Adding and Managing Contacts
Manually Add Contacts:
- Navigate to the Contacts tab.
- Click on the "Add Contact" button.
- Enter relevant details such as name, email, phone number, and business info.
- Save the contact, and it will appear in your contact list.

Importing Contacts:
- You can import contacts in bulk via CSV or Excel files.
- Go to the Import option and upload your file.
- Map the fields in the uploaded file to match the required fields in the system.

Grouping and Segmentation
Creating Groups:
- Group contacts based on shared characteristics, such as industry, lead source, or geographic location.
- To create a new group, go to the "Groups" section and click "Create Group."
- Name the group and select the contacts that belong to it.

Segmenting Contacts:
- Segmentation allows you to target specific subsets of your contacts with personalized campaigns.
- Filter contacts based on criteria such as status, engagement level, or last contact date.
- Save these filters as segments for future use.

Contact Status and Filters
Contact Status:
- Assign a status to each contact to track their position in the sales funnel.
- Status options may include New, Contacted, Qualified, Converted, and Unqualified.
