You can easily add additional time to a Task from the Mini-Player by going to the upper right timer and adding the extra time directly.

Note that you can indicate minutes and seconds by using "m" and "s" after the numerical entry in the field. For instance, if adding 15 minutes and 30 seconds, you should enter "15m 30s" in the Timer Entry.
