Sounds too good to be true?

We can assure you there are no hidden costs.

Just to make our members slightly more confident, here are all costs that you may, at any point incur, with links to where you can find more information on the website.

Fees

Details of all fees that may be payable by the customer at any point throughout their membership

Delivery, monthly payments and joining fee

There is a joining fee of £19.99 charged at the start of your Bike Club membership and the first delivery is free. You can find more information: www.thebikeclub.co/delivery

The monthly payment is charged on a monthly basis as a direct debit. All bikes have their own monthly cost which is also displayed on the following page: www.thebikeclub.co/all-bikes

New bike

To guarantee a new bike, there is a surcharge. This depends on the type of bike and the surcharge amount associated with that particular bike. All information is displayed on the individual bike page

Exchange

Exchanges before the 1st October 2018 will cost a flat fee of £15 per bike. Exchanges after this date will be charged £19.99.

More information can be found: www.thebikeclub.co/exchange

Final sum

Optional final lump sum payable at the end of the buy-out term. Buy-out term varies between 18 and 30 months, all buy-out terms are displayed at the top of any individual bike page

Cancellation

All cancellations involve a cancellation fee of £20, which includes a collection of your bicycle.

Send a box

We ask all members to keep their boxes. If the member will exchange their bike, this is not necessary as we will send out a new bike, and that box can be used to return the smaller one (for more info: www.thebikeclub.co/exchange). If the member comes to cancel but has not kept the box, an additional fee of £40 is chargeable to the direct debit which partially covers the cost to send out an additional bike

Miscellaneous

In the event of serious bike breakage, repairs or total loss, we may need to charge up to the RRP value of the bike, minus monthly payments made towards the bike. See more about breakages and repairs: www.thebikeclub.co/breakage-repairs and see more about total loss (i.e. stolen bike) here: www.thebikeclub.co/what-if-the-bike-gets-lost
