TheCRM system is designed to streamline communication for each user by assigning a unique DirectConnect phone number and a corresponding xxxx.xxxxx@dealerdomain.net email address. These identifiers replace the use of traditional desk phones and personal cell phones, becoming the exclusive contact points for individual employees when interacting with customers.
Key Communication Identifiers:
- DirectConnect Phone Number: Each user is issued a DirectConnect phone number, serving as the sole contact number for customers. This number consolidates communication channels and should be used consistently by employees.
- Email Address: Employees are assigned an email address within our domain, which becomes their primary email for customer interactions. All replies to customers, whether from a computer or mobile device within TheCRM, should be conducted using this designated email address.
Guidance for Management and Store Operators:
- Managers, greeters, operators, and switchboard personnel should be familiar with the DirectConnect numbers and CRM email addresses of their team members.
- Consistency is key in customer interactions; all customer contacts and engagements should be directed to employees using these specified contact methods.
Accessing DirectConnect Numbers and CRM Emails:
- Managers can access the list of DirectConnect numbers and CRM emails in the Employee Settings page. Navigate to this page by clicking "Settings" in the top navigation or selecting the logo at the top left of the screen (using Google Chrome). Then, choose "View Employees" from the drop-down menu.
- In the "View Employees" section, a comprehensive list displays the DirectConnect numbers and CRM email addresses for active employees.
It is essential to note that potential users pending approval and inactive users are categorized separately from active employees.
