Searching for a customer
You may want to search for this customer prior to checking your modules to ensure they do/do not have a note on their profile that indicates they have been working with, or talked to, another sales rep at your location. After verifying this customer does or does not have someone else taking care of them, proceed.
Now, you might have a customer in your Hot, Warm or Cooling Off lead modules that tells you they are months or years out from buying something. In this case you would want this customer to come out of your Hot, Warm or Cooling Off modules for the time being.
PLEASE NOTE*** These 3 modules are designed to show you customers who:
do not have a scheduled appointment of any kind within the designated number of days (this depends on your dealership's setup and may vary by location).
Have had a meeting or appointment, came in as a lead, called in, or were assigned to you in the last 1-5 (Hot), 6-15 (Warm) or 16-31 (Cooling Off) days
So, you need to schedule yourself a Contact appointment outside the specified number of days from today.
Find your customer and click on the Appointment activity tile
Next, select your date and time (within and/or outside the specified date range)
Make sure you select a Contact Appointment and save it. (no need to send an invite to the customer)
Once you have scheduled a Contact Appointment in the correct timeframe, then this customer will no longer show up in your Hot, Warm or Cooling off modules.
