Why share your company page with candidates?

Answer questions candidates want to know the answer to before they even ask! Sharing your company page with candidates will help attract and convert talent. By sharing your company page during the recruiting process you allow candidates to get a look behind the scenes and show them a side of your company that they haven’t seen before.

Boost your candidate experience by providing potential candidates with helpful information that isn’t accessible anywhere else. Help candidates understand exactly what it would be like to work at your company. Managing these expectations upfront in the interview process can help speed up the time it takes to close an amazing candidate (or part ways earlier with candidates who might not be the best fit for your team). You want someone to learn more about your team and say “that team aligns with my work style and we share the same views on success, I want to work there,” or just as importantly, “I don’t think this team would be the right fit for me.”

You can use The Org to set and manage expectations early in the candidate journey. You’re helping candidates understand who you are and what you stand for as a company before they even apply.

How to share your company page with candidates

It’s no use putting all this effort into making your company page shine if you can’t share it! Make sure candidates can easily access your company page.

To share your company page with candidates:

Step 1 - - Go to your Company dashboard

Step 2 - - Navigate to the Overview page tab

Step 3 - - Copy the link under Share your company page with future candidates

The people you work with day in and day out can make or break your work life. Candidates typically ask questions to uncover whether it’s the right team for them to join. Interviewers often have to answer questions along the lines of:

  • Can you tell me about the team I’ll be working with?

  • Who will I work with most closely?

  • Who will I report to directly?

  • Can you tell me about my direct reports?

By sharing the link with candidates before, during, and after the interview your candidates can understand exactly how they fit in and get to know the team before joining.

How to share the org chart in the recruiting process

  • Embed your org chart on your career page or about page, so prospective candidates can’t miss your team.

  • Include The Org’s job description in outbound messages

  • Include the hiring manager/interviewer's personal bio in an interview confirmation email

  • Showing the team and org chart during the interview
