Open journaling is an activity based on classic pen and paper journaling. Whether its writing about triggers, reviewing personal conflicts, or just reflecting on the day, journaling has been shown to help clients clarify their thoughts and feelings and reduce their stress.

Clients can start open journaling and use the text editor to write about whatever they'd like. After they've finished, clients can see identified topics that will be tracked inside of the Therachat app. After a client completes an open journaling entry, you'll be able to see these identified topics in the Therachat dashboard and use them as a starting point for your sessions.
