Using VPNs or VPSs on The Skilled Trader Accounts
In line with our Terms and Conditions, only the registered trader is authorized to access and operate their account.
Sharing login credentials or allowing multiple users to access the same account is strictly prohibited.
While the use of VPNs or VPSs is not explicitly banned, traders must ensure that their usage does not conflict with any of our policies.
This includes avoiding automated trading systems (unless explicitly authorized) and maintaining exclusive, individual control over the account at all times.
For accurate performance tracking and data integrity, we strongly discourage using VPNs or VPSs to access trading accounts.
These tools may interfere with our internal systems and trigger false compliance alerts, especially if the activity appears similar to account sharing or automation.
It’s important to note that VPN/VPS access is commonly associated with multi-user account activity, which is not permitted under any circumstances at The Skilled Trader.
VPN/VPS Use During KYC and AML Verification
To maintain the security and integrity of our platform — and to comply with KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) regulations — all verification processes must be completed without VPN or VPS connections.
Using a masked or anonymous network during verification may result in:
Delays or rejection of your verification process
Suspension of your account
Permanent restriction from receiving funding
If suspicious activity is detected during verification, VPN or VPS usage will be considered a key risk factor and may lead to account disablement.
For the best experience and full compliance, please complete your KYC/AML verification using a direct, unmasked internet connection.
