At The Skilled Trader, the maximum daily loss is set at 4% of your account’s highest balance or equity, whichever is greater, calculated daily at 5 p.m. EST.

This rule ensures traders maintain proper risk control and avoid excessive exposure in a single day.

Example:
If your account balance is $100,000, your maximum daily loss limit is $4,000.
This means your equity, including open trades, must never fall below $96,000 at any time during the trading day.

Violating this rule results in an immediate breach and termination of the active account.
