Simulated Challenge and Funded Limits
Challenge Phase
Traders can purchase an unlimited number of challenges with no restrictions or caps during the challenge phases.
Funded Phase
Once you reach the Funded Stage, the allocation limit depends on the trading platform:
ThinkTrader Accounts: The maximum funded allocation increases to $600,000 across all challenge types (Lightning, Dual Step, and Nexus). With our Scaling Plan, traders can scale this allocation up to $1.5 million.
Important Note:
Account Splitting is Not Allowed: Once you pass an account during evaluation, you cannot divide it into smaller account sizes.
Merging is Not Allowed: Combining multiple accounts into a single account is not permitted.
Bolt Plan — Account Limits
The Bolt Plan offers instant funded accounts in the following sizes: $2,500, $5,000, $10,000, $25,000, $50,000 and $100,000.
The following restrictions apply to Bolt accounts:
One Account Per Size: Traders are allowed to hold only one active Bolt account per account size at any given time, for a maximum Bolt allocation of $192,500.
Re-Purchase After Breach: If an account is breached, the trader is eligible to purchase a new account of the same size once the breached account is closed.
No Account Splitting: Dividing a Bolt account into smaller sizes is not permitted.
No Merging: Combining multiple Bolt accounts into a single account is not permitted.
Bolt Scaling Limit: With our Scaling Plan, traders can scale their Bolt allocation up to $500,000.
Overall Allocation Limit: Bolt accounts count toward the overall limits across all account types combined. Your active Bolt allocation counts toward the $600,000 maximum funded allocation, and your scaled Bolt allocation counts toward the $1.5 million overall scaling limit.
Example:
A trader holding all six Bolt accounts ($192,500 total) can hold up to $407,500 in Lightning, Dual Step, or Nexus funded accounts ($600,000 − $192,500). If that trader later scales their Bolt allocation to $500,000, the remaining $1,000,000 of the $1.5 million limit is available for scaling across their other programs.
