Head Start is an Access Reviews improvement that draws insights from your previous reviews to help you finish your current review in no time.
How does Head Start work?
For consecutive access reviews, we already import the settings, owners, and relevant due dates from your last Access Review Plan automatically.
Head Start takes that convenience a step further by remembering all your Proposed Changes, account by account, and highlighting the difference between your last review and your current access levels. We'll let you know if:
Any access changes proposed in the last review didn't happen as intended
Any employees have new job titles or have different access levels than last time
We'll also identify all employees that have no changes to access or job title and allow you to mark them as No Changes to access. This completes, on average, 95% of an access review in a single click!
Getting the most out of Head Start
If your HRIS is integrated with Thoropass, we can compare HR data with system access lists to identify employees during your review. However, this data rarely matches your accounts list perfectly, with multiple email addresses per user, lack of proper names, or ambiguous machine/service accounts leaving gaps in Head Start's knowledge.
During your access reviews, we recommend that you set an owner for every account that wasn't automatically identified. We'll remember this information going forward, giving Head Start the context needed to provide its insights and saving you manual effort over time.
