Connecting the BigCommerce back end integration enables the tracking of returns, refunds, and voided payments, and customer lifetime value. It also double checks the ThoughtMetric data for accuracy so you can be confident in the ThoughtMetric data.
1.) Log into the BigCommerce admin page
2.) Navigate to Settings -> Store Level API Accounts
3.) Click Create API Account
4.) Enter in "ThoughtMetric" under the "Name:" field.
5.) Select Read-Only for Customers, Orders, Order Transactions, Products, Checkouts.
6.) Copy the text from the API Path textbox.
7.) Click on Configure on the ThoughtMetric BigCommerce API section from the Integrations page
8.) Paste the API Path text into the field in ThoughtMetric.
9.) Click Save in your BigCommerce API configuration.
10.) Copy the Access Code from the info box that popped up after clicking Save.
11.) Paste the Access Token into the access token field in ThoughtMetric and click Connect BigCommerce.
