Getting started
Updated over a week ago

The first step to a lighter wardrobe is ordering your Thrift+ Bag.

You can order up to 3 Thrift+ Bags at a time.

When you’re sending pre-loved clothes to Thrift+, it pays to be picky. Literally.

We hand-check all of the items in your Thrift+ Bags. Then we decide whether to resell, donate or responsibly recycle them.

Items in tip-top condition have the best chance of reselling. Earning you points to spend on pre-loved fashion, redeem on vouchers or donate to charity.

To help you decide what to put in your bag visit our Brand Checker to see if your clothes will be accepted.

How many Thrift+ bags do I need?

Each bag is 700 x 600 + 50mm. That’s roughly the size of a carry-on suitcase.

It can fit around 15-20 items, depending on what you fill it with.

We send bags neatly folded so they fit through your letterbox. Or as part of your shopping order.

When you send us your clothes, be careful not to overfill your bag. We don’t want your Thrift+ Bag bursting at the seams.

Register your Thrift+ Bag

Once your Thrift+ Bag arrives, your wardrobe can breathe a sigh of relief.

To kick off your clearout, scan the QR code on the front of your Thrift+ Bag. This will register your bag to your account. Meaning we can track each of your items on their journey from your wardrobe to someone else’s.

Here’s how to register your bag:

OPTION 1 - Use your phone camera

If you have a mobile phone or tablet that automatically recognises QR codes, the easiest way to register your bag is to simply open the camera app and point it at the QR code.

A small pop-up will appear with a URL. Click on this pop-up to register your bag to your account.

OPTION 2 - Manually register

You can choose to manually type in the barcode of the bag. Visit www.thrift.plus/register and enter your bag number to get started.

Now that’s done, you can start filling your bag with your pre-loved clothes.
