Which devices can I connect?
We currently support connections with:
Apple Health / Health Connect

If there are other devices you’d like to connect, let us know using the Share feedback banner.
How do I connect my wearable or device?
Follow the on-screen prompts when setting up your dashboard, or:
Tap the top-right icon in the app
Go to Settings
Select Apps and devices
Choose the device you want to connect
Why isn’t my wearable connecting?
It can sometimes take a little while for a device to connect. If you’re having trouble, try:
Checking that you have the most up-to-date version of the app installed
Disconnecting the device in the app
Reconnecting it and following the on-screen steps again
If it still doesn’t sync, contact support or use the Share feedback banner.
Why is data from my wearable pulling in from the past?
When you first connect a wearable, we automatically sync up to the last 30 days of data so you can see trends right away.
After connecting, it may take a little time for data to fully appear. If you’re still having trouble, use the Share feedback banner to let us know.
Can I pull data in from further back than 30 days?
By default, we sync the most recent 30 days. If you’d like older data added, contact support at hello@thriva.co and we can look into this for you.
Why isn’t my wearable populating my metrics?
Not all wearables collect or share the same types of data. This means some metrics you see in your wearable’s own app may not appear in the Healthspan dashboard.
Even when a wearable tracks a metric, that data isn’t always available for us to sync. If a metric isn’t supported by your device, it won’t populate.
I have more than one device connected. How can I choose which wearable the data is coming from?
You can’t manually choose a device for a metric at the moment.
If multiple devices track the same metric (like steps), the dashboard shows data from the device that syncs first that day. All data is captured, but only one source is displayed. You can see which device is being used by checking the label on the metric.
My wearable metric data doesn’t match what I see in my wearable app
Values should usually be very similar, but small differences are normal because:
We may process raw data differently (for example, including naps in sleep duration)
Some metrics, like sleep consistency, are calculated using Thriva’s own methods
If you’re seeing large or unexpected differences, please contact support or use the Share feedback banner.
Will connecting my wearable drain my battery?
No. Connecting a wearable should not affect your phone or wearable battery life.
How is my data kept secure?
Your wearable data is stored with the same level of security as your blood test results and other health data.
We use a trusted third-party service to manage device connections securely. If you disconnect a wearable, new data will stop syncing and existing data will be removed from that third party. Your historical data will remain visible in your dashboard.
To fully delete your data, you would need to delete your Thriva account.
