Here are the most common issues that can come up when using your Autodraw, and what to do about them:
My tube is still empty and it's been 5 minutes.
The blood flow can be slow to start. If nothing's happening after 5 minutes:
Email us at hello@thriva.co to arrange for a new kit.
Blood flow started, then stopped
This means that your blood may have begun to clot during sample collection.
Wait it out for a couple of minutes. If no changes, then email us at hello@thriva.co to arrange for a new kit.
I've got two tubes, but could only fill one
If you received two tubes in your kit, both need to be filled and posted together.
Dispose of your sample and drop us an email at hello@thriva.co, and we'll arrange to send you a new kit.
The Autodraw device came off mid-collection
Don't try to reapply the Autodraw device. Once the seal breaks between the autodraw device and your arm breaks, you won't be able to recreate the vacuum.
Get in touch with our team at hello@thriva.co and we'll arrange to send you a replacement.
It's painful
A brief pinch is normal but it shouldn't be sharply painful. If it is, take it off, apply pressure with the gauze pad and contact us at hello@thriva.co so we can assist you best.
