Posting your sample in the heat ☀️

Written by Renee

We're currently experiencing some higher temperatures🌡

If you're in an area experiencing temperatures of 30°C or more, we'd recommend holding off from taking and posting your sample. Hot weather can cause samples to degrade in transit, which may mean the lab is unable to process your results.

Once the temperatures have lowered, you can take and post your sample back to us. In the meantime, you should store your kit away from direct sunlight.

If you have to post your sample when it's hot, we recommend posting your sample in the morning, before it reaches 25°C, and ensuring it's sent in a postbox that will be collected before it gets too warm. The lab will still try to process your results, and we'll credit your account for any missing results.

Please drop us a message to hello@thriva.co if you have any further questions at all. And stay safe in the heat.
