How do I set up my Two Factor Authentication?

Authentication using EMAIL

Enable two factor authentication using email for 6 digit login code

  • Select menu within Staff email address

    • Account Settings

  • Scroll down to Two Factor Authentication

  • Select Enable

  • Select authentication method - EMAIL

  • Continue

  • A 6 digit code will be sent to the email address associated with the Thrive admin account

  • Enter the 6 digit code sent via email - code will expire in 5 minutes

  • Select Confirm to complete the final step to enable the authentication

When signing into the Thrive Admin Portal in the future, a 6 digit code will be emailed and must be entered to complete the authentication process.

Authentication using an Authentication App

Enable two factor authentication using the Microsoft Authenticator.

  • Select menu within Staff email address

    • Account Settings

  • Scroll down to Two Factor Authentication

  • Select Setup

  • Open Microsoft Authenticator and use the + sign to add a new application

  • Scan the QR code

  • Follow the instructions on the authentication app to configure

  • Final step once Thrive has been added to the app you must:

    • Insert the 6 digit code on the app for Thrive in step #3. Confirm TOTP

    • Select Confirm, this will complete the link between the Thrive Admin Portal and the Microsoft authentication app.

When signing into the Thrive Admin Portal in the future, open the MS authenticator App and enter the 6 digit code.
