Welcome to your Thrive 2.0 sandbox! This guide collects every onboarding video in one place so you can explore at your own pace and revisit anything whenever you need it.
The series is contains a short welcome video, followed by four guided tours covering the Hub, People, Projects, and the Admin Portal. We'd suggest working through them in order, but each one stands on its own if you want to jump ahead.
Have a question along the way? Reach out to your CSM anytime, and use Submit Product Feedback (from the Home icon → Send us a message) to share what you're thinking with our product team.
Welcome Video
A quick intro to what you'll see as you navigate your sandbox — and, just as importantly, how to share your thoughts with our team as you go.
In this video:
Where to find help: the Help Center, and the Send us a message option from the Home icon
How to submit feedback using the four-step Submit Product Feedback form — the area your request relates to, what you were trying to do, the change or feature you have in mind, and why it would help
When to send feedback: anything that feels inefficient, is missing functionality your team needs, or a feature you'd like to see added
A reminder to reach out to your CSM with any questions or issues
Tour 1: Hub
Hub Perimeter
Get oriented with the new landing page — now called the Hub — and the navigation that surrounds it.
In this video:
The dynamic left menu that expands as you hover and collapses as you move away
New names for familiar areas: Projects (formerly Searches), People (formerly Contacts), and Lists (formerly Networks), alongside Companies and Analytics
New additions: the Market Maps feature and a single Exports tab for everything you pull from the system
Admin Portal access at the bottom of the panel for users with admin permissions
The top bar: global search, notifications, and the quick-add (+) icon, now available from any page
Hub Interior
A look inside the Hub — the home base you land on every time you log in.
In this video:
Project cards showing the owner, highest stage reached, and a More Actions menu for quick updates like pulling a project status or adding a project to another's strategy tab
More project detail surfaced here than in any previous version of Thrive
Tasks moved up to the Hub, so upcoming work and people to reach out to are visible right away
Events showing what's coming up, with calendar integrations rolling out over time
Tour 2: People
People Index
Your home for finding the right individuals in your database — and Thrive 2.0 gives you stronger ways to search than ever. Much of this carries over to the Projects and Companies index pages too.
In this video:
A traditional list view, plus a new card view that mirrors the top of a full profile
Quick-add buttons to drop someone into a project or a list
Export to CSV, sent straight to your Exports section to download now or later
Familiar filters (skills, functions, name, title) plus new regional filtering by time zone, US and international regions, and metro areas
Natural language search — the biggest update here — combining structured fields and AI-interpreted data (even parsed resumes) so you can search in plain English, like "Show me CFOs in New York City"
People Profile
A walkthrough of the full people profile — everything you can see and do once you open an individual's record.
In this video:
A fixed header with current company, title, and location, plus an off-limits banner when applicable
Contact methods shown in blue when present and gray when missing, editable via the pencil icon
Quick actions to add the person to a project or list
Tabbed sections navigated left to right: Overview (with an AI summary, tags, recent outreaches, job preferences, demographics, and custom fields), Experience, Projects, Lists, Notes, Outreach, Scorecards, Events, Activity, and Compensation
A new Networks tab for references, introductions, and other connection types — plus a new Work Overview tab showing who in your system has been a coworker
Tour 3: Projects
Project Overview
The first in our projects series — an overview of how projects work in Thrive 2.0, from creating one to navigating your candidates.
In this video:
Creating a project from the (+) icon anywhere in the app (job title, hiring company, plus optional location, team lead, and additional team access)
Three ways back into an existing project: global search, the Projects index, or your Hub
Project info, candidate search, filters, and sort options across the top
List view and card view, with later stages at the top and earliest stages below
Candidate cards showing title, company, location, off-limits and hide-from-hiring-manager flags, tags, recent activity, and quick actions (outreach, event, note, scorecard)
A new multi-select for bulk actions like adding to a project or list, tagging, moving stages, or changing owner
Candidate Overview
A closer look at a single candidate — building on the people profile, with the pieces specific to a candidate in a project. If you haven't watched the People Profile video yet, start there.
In this video:
A candidate-specific section at the top of the Overview tracking outreaches, notes, events, and scorecards completed for this project
Candidate-specific custom fields you can complete
A toggle across outreach, scorecards, events, and more to view items for all of a person's projects or just this one
New note sharing: private drafts saved automatically (lock icon), then shareable to your internal team or to everyone (clients and hiring managers), with viewer or editor access
Project Details
Click the job title to open everything you can customize and track at the project level.
In this video:
Sections for overview, notes (with the same sharing options), outreach and events, the offer process, a full activity timeline, and a new Analytics tab (pipeline, rejections by reason, candidates added by week, candidate pool)
Contract info, project documents, off-limits, team tasks, and a team-management tab for internal and external users
A new Strategy tab to add tags, target companies, benchmark candidates, and similar projects — and to build scorecard templates directly or from Admin-built templates
The Source Candidates engine: Thrive's recommendations with relevancy scores, save-for-later and pass options, and a new Past Projects function to review candidates from your prior work
More Actions reporting: a project report and a brand-new pre-call agenda to prep for client check-ins
Offer Process
How to move a candidate through the offer stage, from drafting an offer to recording the outcome.
In this video:
Dragging a candidate to the Offer stage auto-populates an offer sheet defaulted to that candidate
Setting offer and start dates, attaching documents, and adding compensation (cash, equity, total) — or turning comp off to complete later
Create to put the offer in a pending state
Recording the result by dragging to Hired or Rejected, including whether the candidate declined or the team passed, with a reason
Updating compensation and start date anytime afterward
Hiring Manager View
See your project the way your clients and hiring managers do, through the new hiring manager portal.
In this video:
Launching it from More Actions → View as hiring manager
Shows only candidates marked visible, with assessments, notes, and interviews
Hiring managers can prioritize and deprioritize, filter (by primary company, location, rejection reason), and add their own notes for you to see
A project summary and interview schedule on the right side
A way for hiring managers invited to multiple projects to switch between them from their own hub
Tour 4: Market Maps
Creating a Market Map
Learn how to build a dynamic Market Map by selecting target companies and defining the roles you want to track.
In this video:
Creating a new Market Map from the Dynamic Panel
Naming your map and adding a description
Adding companies individually or from an existing list
Defining role criteria using seniority levels and functional areas
Automatically generating a live Market Map based on your selections
Tour 5: Admin Portal (Admin Only)
User Roles & Permissions, Custom Fields, Customization
A guided tour of the admin portal — where you tailor Thrive 2.0 to the way your team works. Built for admins.
In this video:
Managing custom fields: seeing where each field lives in the app, whether it's visible or hidden, reordering them, and creating new ones with helper text, field types, and visibility settings
Editing tag values and building scorecard templates with criteria
Customizing project stages (research is editable; outreach and interview are fully customizable)
Reorganizing contract terms and branding your report extracts
Setting up system and custom roles with granular permissions
