The stick-on Ticker box pairs with your phone via Bluetooth. Everyone on the policy needs to download the Ticker app and pair with the box. After the first pairing, the box will connect to whichever phone it finds first.
Two reasons your box might not connect with your phone:
1. Another phone is already connected
The box can only connect with one phone at a time. If you have another driver already connected, they'll need to turn off their Bluetooth for you to pair with the box.
Once you've paired the first time, everyone can turn their Bluetooth back on.
2. Your box is asleep
The box wakes up when it detects movement - usually you opening your car door and getting in.
If you notice that your phone hasn't connected, check the box. Blue lights mean it's waiting to connect and green lights mean connected (these will go off soon after you start driving).
No lights? Your box hasn't detected movement. Opening and shutting your door should be enough to wake it up.
