What are schedules?

Schedules help you define the opening times of your shop and its different areas. The availability of products linked to an area will always follow the currently active schedule.

Why use schedules?

Schedules and areas work together to manage your shop’s availability. While areas define different spaces in your shop, schedules determine their opening times. By setting up schedules, you ensure that products connected to specific areas are only bookable when those areas are open.

There are two types of schedules:

  • Regular schedules define your standard opening times for each day of the week.

  • Temporary schedules allow you to set exceptions, such as extended hours during holidays or closing days for maintenance.

How to set it up

📱 On mobile:

  1. Open the ticketbro app and go to the Menu.

  2. Select Schedules.

  3. Tap Add new schedule.

  4. Choose between:

    • Regular schedule – for recurring shifts.

    • Temporary schedule – for short-term or specific-date schedules.

  5. If creating a Regular schedule:

    • Select the opening days and set the corresponding opening times for each.

    • Assign the schedule to an area.

    • Save, and you’re done!

  6. If creating a Temporary schedule:

    • Select the validity time range (start and end date).

    • Select the days and opening times.

    • Assign the schedule to an area.

    • Save, and you’re done!

💡 Tip: If your shop has the same opening times every day, set up the first one and use copy-paste to apply it to all days.

💻 On web:

  1. Go to the Menu and select Schedules.

  2. Click Add new schedule.

  3. Choose between a Regular or Temporary schedule.

  4. Follow the setup process for your selected schedule type.

  5. Assign the schedule to an area and save.

Best practices for schedules

✔️ Use regular schedules to define your general opening times.
✔️ Use temporary schedules for exceptions, such as holiday hours or special closures.
✔️ Assign schedules to different areas to control when specific products are available.

Common issues

A schedule isn’t applying correctly to my products’ availability.
➡️ Check if the schedule is correctly assigned to the area your product is linked to.

I can’t assign a temporary schedule to an area.
➡️ Ensure there are no overlapping temporary schedules, as these cannot be assigned at the same time. Try splitting them into non-overlapping time frames.
