Double Charges and Incorrect Amounts

We understand how concerning billing issues can be. Here's what you should know:

Pending vs. Completed Charges

Sometimes what appears as a double charge is actually a pending authorization β€” your bank temporarily holding the funds. This is not an actual charge and will be released automatically within 3–5 business days.

How to tell the difference:

  • Check your banking app or statement β€” some banks label charges as "pending" or "completed"

  • If one charge shows as "pending", it will likely disappear on its own within 3–5 business days - If both charges show as "completed", this may be an actual double charge that needs investigation

Note: Not all banks show the status of a charge. If your bank doesn't distinguish between pending and completed transactions, wait 5 business days. If both charges are still showing after 5 days, contact our support team β€” it's likely a real double charge that needs to be corrected.

What to Do

  1. Wait 3–5 business days β€” If the extra charge is "pending", it should resolve automatically within this time frame.

  2. If the charge is confirmed and incorrect, contact Tick'it Support with:

  3. Your order details or booking email

  4. A screenshot of the charge(s) from your bank statement

  5. Our team will investigate and process a correction
