1. Creating an affiliate account.
In the system, hit the 'Partners' button on the top menu.
You can either create the user yourself or invite the affiliate to sign up themselves.
Hitting the 'invite link' will give you a link you can send to your affiliate and will send them to a signup screen. Note that after they sign up, you will need to approve them from the Partners screen - they will be pending until you do.
If you would like to create their user for them, hit 'New Partner'. You will be prompted to enter their details and save them. Note the username and password you choose for them, as they are important.
2. Setting up the affiliate with campaigns and payouts.
Once the user has been created, you should add them to relevant campaigns, giving them permission to send there traffic. Click their username in 'Partners' and hit the 'Campaigns' tab.
Here you can add the relevant campaigns (or just all of them) to the affiliate. For 'Plan' and 'Amount' You can fill in CPA 0, and hit 'add'.
It is suggested to fill in the affiliate's payouts via the 'Countries' tab, where you can fill in how much they should be paid for each geo. We will also soon release the 'Payment Model' tab (shown in the above screenshot) which will allow for more complex terms such as conversion guarantees.
Note that Trackbox has several places where affiliate payout can be defined - this affiliate's page takes priority over everything else, as it is the most specific definition that can be added.
3. Setting up the affiliate with a campaign box.
Once the affiliate is added to campaigns, you can either create for them a campaign box to manage their traffic or use an existing box. Refer to the Boxes article for more info on this.
4. Final setup - API or Marketplace offers.
Once all of the above is taken care of, the affiliate is ready to integrate. Affiliates might prefer to use your offers, in which case you can give them a link from the marketplace or they can visit it themselves and take links for themselves. Affiliates who use marketplace offers will frequently also need S2S postbacks/pixels installed - refer to this article for help.
If your affiliate wishes to integrate via API, you will need to gather for them the following information:
Their username and password - if you created their user you should have them, if they registered they should have it. If for any reason you need to reset the password, you can go to their partner page to do so.
Their ai - this is one of the columns in the 'Partners' screen.
Their gi - this is the ID of the campaign box you want them to send traffic to. You can see it via the 'Boxes' screen.
If they are using Trackbox, this is all the information we will need to connect the two Trackboxes together.
If they are not, they will also require:
The system URL - this is the same URL you use to login, i.e https://platform.example.com
The API Docs - available here.
