In order to create a new rule please click on +

Let's go over the steps to create an injection rule:

First step (source):

You will be presented with 3 options about the lead source.

"Recurring rule from Database" - Set up a repeating rule that will pull leads dynamically every time from your leads tab based on the conditions you choose.

"Import from Database" - Create a static list of leads from the system.

"Import from List" - Upload a list of your own. You will need our injections example .csv, available in the system.

Don't forget to name the rule you're creating in order to be able to proceed to the next step!

Second step (choose filters):

From this step data base rules (recurring rule from data base and import from data base) and list injection go on to separate ways.

Data base rules:

If you have choose recurring rule from data base and import from data base, you will need choose where to pull the leads from.

Third step (destination):

At this stage you need to set up the destination for these leads to register, whether it's to a campaign or a box.

Choose a specific campaign or box and then choose the affiliate under which the leads will be registered. Once the rule will be activated all injected leads for this rule could be viewed under the affiliate you chose.

Enable the Auto login affiliates option to make sure the affiliate you have chose will be assigned to the campaign or campaigns you want to inject the leads to.

Fourth step (time):

At this stage you can set and control the activity hours of the rule.

Here you will have a difference between the data base rules:

Recurring rule from data base - choose when the dates the rule will be applied, for example:

Then set up the working hours for the rule:

In Recurring from DataBase rules, there will also be a sample back field. This is where you specify from which period in the past you want to re-distribute leads (for example leads from 1 week back).

Import from data base - choose when the rule will apply, whether it's now, a specific time or set a recurring rule instead (it will transfer your rule to a recurring rule)

Final step (confirmation):

The final stage before your rule would apply. Here you can see the summary of the rule you have created. You can change and adjust rule's settings at any stage by clicking on the relevant stage here:

Import from list:

In case you chose to import from a list in step two you need to choose to either select an existing list (that was uploaded beforehand) or upload a new list.

If you want to use an existing list you would see the same list you would see here:

In order to use a list all you need to do it to click on "select a list".

If you prefer to upload a new list - you would need to upload the relevant list:

Use download template in order to view a sample template you should use in order to upload a new list.

Important!

Make sure the file's name is not a name you already have in your lists, otherwise you won't be able to upload the list.

Also please make sure you're not deleting or changing the columns in the excel from what is set in the template, as it may cause issues with uploading the list as well.

If you want you can leave the not mandatory columns empty:

Additional important note:

In column userIP you have to either use the lead's real IP or you can put a fake one, as long as it's a valid IP. For example: 1.1.1.1

After uploading the list or selecting the list from lists, you would have the same steps as in the steps in import from data base.

In step three you need to choose the lead's destination and then in step four you will set when the rule would start to apply. And of course in the final step you can view the summary of the rule you have just created.

After creating the rule

Once you rule is set you can track and check it from distributions tab. You can also view the summary of the rule and it's progress.

Status - indicates if the stage of the rule. For example, if you see the rule as "done" it means that the rule have finished its run.

Overall - the number of lead injected out of the total leads you have uploaded or chose.

If you see that leads are not being injected:

Click on the relevant rule and view the summary of the leads that were registered or not:

By clicking on a row you will be able to view each lead that were sent within this distribution rule and which response it got:

If you see that the lead have failed you can send it to the advertiser you have tried to inject this lead to and check with them the reason for failure.
