Updated over a year ago

Leads tab allows you to see leads and all relevant info regarding them and would help you manage and control your traffic.

Let's start with learning all possible filters you can use in order to view and sort leads:

Date Range - allows you to pick to and from date. You can also view leads by set filters, for example leads from last 7 days.

Date Type - The default data type is by registration date, aka by the data the lead got to your system.

You can also filter leads by deposit found date (when the lead have arrived in Falcon) and deposit date (when the lead have been approved in Falcon).

Next you can filter by brand, affiliates, countries, campaigns, boxes and lead type.

Type:
Leads - successful lead registration
Depositors - a lead that was converted
Soft Failures - a lead that failed to be sent and was sent to another brand.
Failures - a lead that failed to be sent and didn't have any other brand that can get it.
unassigned - a lead that failed from TrackBox API due to wrong box settings, for example, wrong country/invalid working hours/days/cap limits.

in order to see the reason for the failure you need to press on the lead and then check the brand response.

Advanced search (by So, Email, Sale Status, Free params, etc.)

Please note that by default the Hide Distribution Affiliates option is turned on.

When this option is turned on it means leads that are sent by a distribution affiliate.

What is a distribution affiliate?

A distribution affiliate is a type of affiliate whose leads are not displayed with the normal leads from other affiliates.

Instead, you have to click a specific button to see their leads.

This feature is useful for affiliates who inject cold leads into the system and you want to keep their leads separate from the warm leads.

When this feature is enabled, you will not be able to find these leads in any of the system's finance, reports, leads, or other areas, but you can access them by clicking the designated button.

If you have an affiliate set as a distribution affiliate It means that by default you will not see leads sent by them. In order to see leads sent by them you would need to turn off " Hide Distribution Affiliates".

In order to change it, please follow these steps:

Go to 'Partners' tab -> Click on the affiliate -> Turn off "Distribution Affiliate".

Searching for a lead - You can also search by different criterions:

Setting a template - You can rearrange your columns and control the type of data you see. You can see here the different columns and control them:

If you can't see a column, for example phone number, you can ask support to add it for you.

If you're not a general manager - please ask your management or a general manager to open a chat and ask this permission for you.

You can also save different templates for your private use. First pick the settings you want, then give it a name and click done:

Saved templates are avialbie in load templates option:

You can also export the data from leads tab to an excel file:

If you can't see export option please contact support and if you are not a general manager, ask your management or a general manager to ask to add it for you.

Actions:

In case you want to make some changes in the lead all you need to do is to click on the three dots of the relevant lead and click select:

Change Type - with this action you can change a Lead to an FTD or the opposite.

Pick "change type" and then FTD or lead.

Change Sale Status - Change the sale status of the lead by picking change sale status and then write down the relevant sale status.

Inject Leads - with this action you can choose leads and re-inject them to a brand.

You can choose to inject to a box or directly to a campaign, and also select the affiliate.

Delete - with this action you can delete only Type = Leads (you can't delete Failures nor Depositors).

In case you see a lead have failed for some reason but on on the broker's side this lead was successful, you can change this lead from failure to a lead type.

All you have to do is to click on "Update customer ID":

Here you need to enter the customer ID (the lead ID on the broker's side). This is done in order for you to be able to pull statuses and get deposits for this lead.

How to view info about a lead?

In order to check some information about a lead, for example why a lead have failed, all you need to do is to click on the relevant lead.

After doing so you will see different categories.

Here you can see the lead ID, the brand transaction ID (customer ID) and unique id (click id) and all other info about this lead.

In general info you would see payout and revenue for this lead and also the data that's coming from your affiliate for this lead:

In connection you will see some info about where the lead was sent from, for example, lead's browser user agent.

In transactions you would see the payment plan that is relevant for this lead.

In brand response you can view the request and response received by our CRM. You can view three categories: lead registration, call status and FTD.

Autologin:

In brand response you can see if the autologin was used (entered) or not.

For more info about how autologin works please refer to our autologin manual.

With lead analysis you can look into why the lead did not reach the desired advertiser:

Under "relevant" and "not relevant" you can see the lead's attempt to register to different campaigns in the box and the reason for failure.

There's different reasons a lead won't be able to enter a campaign set in the box:

Activity hours - the lead have tried to register outside of set activity hours

Row disabled - the relevant row set for this campaign is disabled in the box

Affiliate is not assigned - the affiliate that is sending you leads is not assigned to the relevant campaign in the box.

In order to assign an Affiliate to a Campaign, please follow these steps:

Go to the 'Partners' tab -> Click on the relevant affiliate -> 'Campaigns' tab -> Add the relevant campaign(s).

Country not match/ No matching campaign based on country logic - the country you have for this campaign in the box is not matching the GEO the affiliate is sending. For example, your affiliate is sending you leads for UK traffic but in the country box only AU is set.

Filter campaign by restriction - means there a rule is traffic rules (restrictions) that block this lead from entering. For more info please refer to our traffic rules manual.

Campaign InActive - means the campaign is not active in "campaigns" tab.

There's also other possible scenarios. If you have any doubts or questions ask our support team.

Types of leads and why they are not changing

Lead - A lead that was successfully registered on both the receiving CRM (the advertiser's side) and the sending CRM (your system).

In case you see this lead as lead and you should see it as depositor - please check first Falcon, in case this lead is waiting for approval. If it's not there please follow our manual on integrations and API testing.

In case you see a lead with call status still on "new" please follow our manual on integration and API testing.

Depositor - A lead that was changed to a depositor.

Please note that if see a depositor with call status "new" - the call status won't change after the lead have changed from lead to depositor. If you want to see the call status first, you can send another test lead to the broker and ask them to change the call status for this lead first.

A lead can be changed to a depositor either automatically, i.e. the broker changes it on their side and after we pull lead statuses and depositors automatically by API request, or you it can change manually.

In case it was changed manually you would see it with a little triangle:

Once the lead is a depositor you would see the deposit date, aka the date the lead was changed to a depositor in your system), and FTD found date, aka when the lead have reached Falcon.

These two columns don't have to be with the same value. For example, if a lead reached your Falcon and waited there for some time they would be different, as the date the lead have reached Falcon and the date it was approved are different.

Failure - A lead that have tried to reach the advertiser's CRM and have failed for some reason. In such a case you should first forward the lead's request and response and check with the broker why this lead have failed.

Soft failure - A lead that tried to register to one campaign in the box, failed for some reason and then registered to another campaign.

Lead (1) represents the campaign the lead have registered to, soft failure represents the failed attempt.

Unassigned - A lead that failed to reach your CRM.

Possible scenarios for a lead to be unassigned:

"Expired Offer or no such box" - make sure you have a relevant GI (box number) in your CRM. In some cases the affiliate might get confused and send to CI 18 and not to GI 18, for example.

"No matching campaign based on country logic. Box: (GI). country: X " - make sure the GEO sent from the affiliate is set in the box. For more info please check our boxes manual.

"Same user Exist in the last 20 min with the same IP. duplicate LEAD" - means that you are blocking leads that tried to register with the same IP within 20 minutes, aka one lead have registered with this IP and within 20 minutes after registration another lead have tried to register with the same IP.

The same can happen with email and phone number and it will depend according to what you have set.

In order to change it access system settings:

Then go to "blocking" and there you can control the blocking settings:

"Phone Number is not valid" - the phone number your affiliate is sending is not valid. Double check the phone number.

"Email is not valid" - the email your affiliate is sending is not valid. Double check the phone number and make sure the email has @.

"No active campaigns in box. Box for (GI). country: X " - means that there is no active campaign for this GEO that is set in the box. Make sure the relevant country is open and the affiliate is assigned to this campaign.

"No valid campaigns for the selected activity hours. box: Box for (GI), country: X " - means that the lead tried to register to the campaign but it was done outside of the activity hours set for this campaign in the box.

"All campaigns in box exceeded their caps. box: Box for (GI). country: X " - means that the lead have tried to register to a campaign in the box but the cap set in the box in every relevant campaign have exceeded the cap you have set.

"Offer not valid or no campaigns found. BOX ai: not attached to the campaigns in gi: " - means that the affiliate that have tried to send a lead to a campaign set in the box is not assigned.
